Role
Context
Deskimo is a YC-backed start-up offering an on-demand booking app.
They provide their users in Hongkong and Singapore access to independent workspaces that range from executive offices to co-working spaces.
Deskimo also works with enterprise partners, who offer the app to their employees. They provide their employees with a monthly budget they can use to book any workspace listed on the Deskimo app.
Problem
COVID-related restrictions continue to ease and offices are slowly opening up in limited capacities.
Enterprise partners transitioning to a hybrid work model are not equipped in managing their office spaces to provide flexible workspace to their employees depending on their needs which results in reduced employee satisfaction and higher operational costs due to underutilization or overutilization of office spaces

Challenge 3
Distinct Visual Style
Since deskimo already has an existing mobile app, I needed to create a distinct visual style guide for the enterprise mobile app that will differentiate it from the existing one.
Action Taken
Existing Deskimo App uses yellow as its primary color, I decided to use Blue from the deskimo branding as the main color so it's distinct from the existing one but still within the deskimo branding.
Challenge 2
Lack of understanding about the the users
Due to the limited time, I highly relied on the interview insights already gathered by deskimo and validated it through secondary Research.

Feedback 1
Feature integration
After further discussion with the team, we decided to Integrate the in-office booking feature into the existing Deskimo App and with access to the feature dependent on the type of user.
Solution
Enterprise partners using deskimo for external workspace booking are worried about requiring their employees to download a new app apart from what they have been using.
